Sort Out! exposes learners to a more in-depth analysis of running a business. In the first section, learners are introduced to fictional entrepreneurs who run exciting, funky businesses such as roller blade and board game factories, music and sweet shops, as well as clothing manufacturers and computer programming. The work cards are illustrated with full-colour photographs and comprise a series of challenges and exercises which encourage learners to take on the role of business advisor.
The second section involves learners in a series of entrepreneurial activities based on six themes: animals, art, food, services, sport and tourism. Learners embark on micro business ventures, doing preparation in class and research at home before going out and putting their plans into action. After each venture, learners compile a report giving feedback on their successes or failures.
