Team Up! explores vital aspects of running a business using case studies to illustrate each theme. The case studies are from some of the worlds (including South Africa’s) most successful entrepreneurs and businesses. These include, among others, Richard Branson, George Lucas, Herman Mashaba, Aida Geffen, Raymond Ackerman, MTN, SPAR.
Using full colour photographs and funky design, the materials provide an exciting, colourful and interactive alternative to dull and grey text books. A savvy cycle is used on each work card comprising challenging exercises, encouraging learners to use a number of tools, such as debate, research, mind-maps and sketches, to better understand their subject matter. Learners use interviews, surveys and questionnaires to study real businesses within their communities and to explore a range of business careers. A subject analyser enables learners to ask pertinent questions about each subject to increase their knowledge and understanding.
