The Challenge
Our challenge in creating the Business Ventures materials for the South African Institute for Entrepreneurship was to interpret the revised national curriculum statement and to produce learning materials which are fun, exciting, interactive and self-driven.

The Solution
Together with SAIE, we developed kits for Grades 3 to 12, using bright, full-colour illustrations and photographs and fun, exciting challenges. Instead of text books, we developed a range of laminated work cards and other materials which make learning come alive. The materials challenge learners to debate topical issues, to explore opportunities, to brainstorm new ideas and to solve problems. Also, the materials encourage teachers to guide, rather than lecture learners in their quest to become entrepreneurs.
